I want to thank you for your personal involvement in the National Healthy Homes Conference. Your keynote was inspiring - and entertaining - and greatly appreciated by all. We know that the mission to create healthy housing for American families cannot be achieved without the efforts of many. Having you at the Conference is a testament to that fact, and serves as a reminder that such highly respected individuals as you share our concerns. Together we can continue to reduce health hazards in housing for children and our most vulnerable.
I appreciate all you did for us at the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Please share my gratitude with Evy for helping us get you to the conference. I look forward to future collaboration with you in this important endeavor.

I'm delighted to recommend Steve to you. He did an outstanding job at our event. Because our mission is history and education, Steve focused on his show Save our History, which he was hosting at that time.
He came to Savannah early on the day of the event, made himself available to local media to promote the public part of the program, and met and mingled with a select group of donors at a one-hour reception before the event. This reception, incidentally, took place at the house that was restored by This Old House in 1996, while Steve was host, and during the reception he talked about the show in general, that project in particular, and his passion for preservation and green building.
At the public event following, which was attended by over 400 people at a local restored historic theater, he spoke for about a half-hour, and his speech was relaxed yet informative, engaging, and entertaining. He also showed and narrated several video clips of different episodes of Save our History, which our audience enjoyed very much. He left time for Q&A after his formal presentation, and then attended a 90-minute public reception after the event, where he mingled and signed autographs with everyone.
To sum up, we put him through the paces, and he cheerfully did everything we asked and more. He was very easy to work with regarding his travel and itinerary as well. Steve brought a level of passion and professionalism that we really appreciated. I can highly recommend him to you and think he'll do a great job for your organization.
